With 1 in 6 Tennesseans at risk for hunger, Nashville Kettlebell is joining forces with Second Harvest Food Bank to host Strength Against Hunger…a food drive to serve those who are in need.

Our food drive, which has already begun, will culminate on Saturday 11/10 with the Strength Against Hunger Bonus Class at 10am for current and former NKB members. For new folks, those bringing a bag of non-perishable food items to Nashville Kettlebell on 11/10 will participate in an hour-long free introductory class that begins at 9am…and as a bonus, they’ll receive one week of free* classes! (*The free bonus week is limited to first time attendees, and must be used by 12/15/12.)

Here’s how you can help…

1) Bring non-perishable food items to classes this week (or to Saturday’s bonus class) and deposit in the collection bin located inside the gym. Most needed food items: canned fruit, vegetables, soup, and stews; canned tuna or chicken; cereal; pasta and peanut butter.

2) Please go to Nashville Kettlebell’s Facebook page @ http://www.facebook.com/NashvilleKettlebell and, on your own FB page, share the post that invites new attendees to donate a bag of non-perishable goods on 11/10 @ 9am and stay for a free introductory class (plus first time attendees will also receive one free week of classes)! You may also go to the NKB FB event page and invite friends who you think might be interested in attending the intro class!

Thanks in advance for helping to create a hunger free Tennessee. Be what you choose to be. But be Strong First.
