Lately when I haven’t been doing Barbell work or swings, I have been using double kettlebell for a lot of my stuff. In particular I have been digging deeper into the double front squat and the double clean.

I went thru a period several years ago when I competed in GS where almost all may training was spent doing long cycle clean and jerk. The cleans I am doing now are not the same as those, there is a decidedly Hardstyle spin on them as outlined in Return of the Kettlebell.

 

I got to thinking about cleans more and more after the 2011 Summit of Strength and spending some time talking to Geoff Neupert, MRKC about them. He has a great little video on his blog HERE that covers some of the stuff we he was explaining to me at the Summit. Check it out.
